Shalamar grew up in<br>a challenging environment in Ohio that led to her resiliency towards being a<br>changemaker to transform lives. Due to her family connections, foster care<br>placements, and more: Shalamar has devoted her outreach to assisting those in child<br>welfare and those affected by human trafficking.<br>She is also an advocate for the (USIAHT) U.S Institute Against Human<br>Trafficking for Men, Women, and Children. She created her writing brand known<br>as &#8220;Leading Lady&#8221; and her novel debut was released in February 2022. Her<br>acclaimed novel is also loosely based on her true life. Her clothing brand is<br>2Days Woman, a featured online apparel boutique. Shalamar uses<br>the proceeds from her author and clothing brands to support her outreach efforts<br>in the community at large.<br>She proudly served in the U.S. Army and is now an honorable Veteran. Her<br>passion for helping others is unmatched.
