As an adoptive parent, a student of life, and a self-described California surfer dude, Sean and his wife found themselves staring at the insurmountable infertility struggle.
After struggling with 5 pregnancies (one of them was with quadruplets) they faced miscarriage time and again. As their options were coming to a close, and his wife’s health became impacted by the effects of the treatments they began to consider adoption.
One chance encounter with a movie brought them full circle to decide adoption was the right way for them. We talked about the cost of adoption both domestic and international, and the experiences some of their friends from their support group underwent in the process as well.
Their community rallied around them and became an adoptive community in support of one child that needed a home.
